The Scotland tour commences on Tuesday 27th June following the Conference in Edinburgh. The tour includes ground transportation and all social events. Lunch, dinner and snacks are included each day (unless indicated as ‘free’ time in the below schedule) please note: the provision of breakfast will depend on which hotel you select.

  • Wedderlie Farm (Wedderlie herd)

  • Roxburgh Mains (Rawburn herd)
  • Borders Union Showground
  • ‘Taste of the Borders’ dinner
  • Overnight in Edinburgh

Wednesday, June 28th

  • Departure from Principal and Roxburghe hotels, and Haymarket Railway Station
  • Highland Club exhibition at Dingwall Mart
  • Overnight in Aviemore (free evening, dinner on own)

Thursday, June 29th

  • Departure from Macdonald Aviemore Resort
  • Galcantray Farm (Galcantray herd)
  • Ballindalloch Home Farms (Ballindalloch, oldest existing herd)
  • Highland fling dinner and dancing evening (Dress code: formal, kilts encouraged!)
  • Overnight in Aviemore

Friday, June 30th

  • Departure from Macdonald Aviemore Resort
  • Tillyfour Farm (Tillyfour herd & home of William McCombie)
  • Glenbervie Farm (Glenbervie herd & tour of gardens and factory)
  • Civic reception at Discovery Point in Dundee
  • Overnight in Dundee

Saturday, July 1st

  • Departure from official WAF 2017 Dundee hotels
  • Glamis Castle
  • Newton of Idvies (Idvies herd)
  • Prettycur Farm (Rosemount herd)
  • Overnight in Dundee (free evening, dinner on own)

Sunday, July 2nd

  • Departure from official WAF 2017 Dundee hotels
  • United Auctions at Stirling Mart
  • Stirling Castle
  • Grand Finale Dinner at Netherton Farm, and tour of HW Angus & Netherton herds (Dress code: casual)
  • Overnight in Dundee

Monday, July 3rd

  • Travel back to Edinburgh city centre where tour officially ends. Drop off at central Edinburgh location.

Scotland Accommodation

You can book and pay for your accommodation as part of the registration process. There will be space on the coach to store your luggage. If you wish to store any luggage in Edinburgh while on the Scotland tour, this is your responsiblity to arrange separately.
