Angela McGregor runs the Newcairnie Aberdeen-Angus herd from her home in Aberdeenshire where she also has a farm shop. The McGregor’s have been involved in Aberdeen-Angus for three generations and have exported to both Northern and Southern Hemisphere countries. The focus has been on exploiting the commercial aspects of the breed to ultimately producing quality cattle and beef. Previous to taking over the herd, Angela worked for the Aberdeen-Angus Producer Group and a wholesale meat butcher and processor. Angela has studied beef quality systems in Australia, America and Japan. Angela is currently Chair of the Technical Committee on the Aberdeen-Angus Council.
